Dear all wonderful winter swimmers 💙
CON AMORE PROJECT:
We're looking for the life stories that have had a huge impact on your life and are the reason you swim year-round.
Would you like to share your story with other winter swimmers? Below we've described how you can take part.
The project "How Winter Swimming Changed My Life" will run through the 2023/24 winter season, and our drive is to spread all the great stories out there so other winter swimmers may benefit from them in one way or another.
Over the years we've heard many of you tell us what winter swimming has done for you and your life.
We've heard you tell us stories about:
- great love
- the cure for winter depression
- how migraines have disappeared without medication
- how wonderful friendships have formed
- kickstarting training and subsequent recovery
- how symptoms of multiple sclerosis have been reduced
- weight loss
- the start of beautiful family traditions
- wrinkles and cellulite
- hangovers have disappeared
- psychoses have become less severe
- mood has improved
- metabolism has increased
- sleep has improved
- and much more.
No story is too small or too big - we'd love to hear your very special story.
So if you have a story you'd like to share with us that has been life-changing in some way, we'd really love to hear from you.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Please reply to this email; help@nordbaek.com - briefly describing how winter swimming has changed your life. Just 5-10 lines.
When we've selected stories for the project, you'll of course hear from us so we can ensure nothing is passed on without prior permission.
Send your story to us at this email: help@nordbaek.com
Thank you for taking the time to share 💙 We hope to hear many lovely stories from you.
Warm wishes
Ida & Barbara
