Water.
We love water. Water is the most natural and at the same time the most magical element. We want to celebrate the water around us with this short piece on the occasion of World Water Day.

Water is the foundation of all life on Earth. Without water, no life. We drink water every day. We ourselves are made up of 70% water, and the Earth is covered by 70% water. We are water. All plants, all animals, all life forms on Earth and all processes on Earth depend on water. We are all made of water and we cannot live without it.
In fact, it is not only here on Earth that water is crucial for our existence. Discoveries in space show that water is widespread throughout the Universe – in the Milky Way, on planets, in gigantic interstellar clouds of water vapor, which are 140 trillion times larger than Earth’s oceans. The components of water, hydrogen and oxygen, are among the most abundant elements in the Universe.
Water is our common bond, what we all share, across continents and even stars. Water connects us all. We are all one and water is the common denominator.

WATER IN ITS THREE FORMS
Water is unique in that it is the only common substance that exists as a solid, liquid and gas, and can transform through a range of processes between these three states.
The most common form here on Earth is the liquid form. Water as a liquid is found everywhere and is sometimes mixed with other substances, such as salt. There is saltwater in the sea, freshwater in lakes and rivers, rain from the clouds and groundwater.
The solid form of water is ice. This form occurs either as very hard freshwater ice or the softer sea ice that forms in the ocean, which can be pressed so hard that you can walk on it.
Water in its gaseous form is also called water vapor. We know it from the beautiful formations of clouds, steam from a kettle, and when cold meets warm.
But what state is snow? Snow is a type of precipitation that forms in clouds (water vapor).
Snow is a special form of water, precipitation in the form of crystals. Snow forms in clouds when the temperature is below freezing and the clouds condense directly into ice without passing through the liquid stage. That is, it goes directly from the gas form (water vapor) to the solid form (ice). A neat detail about snow is that every snowflake is unique, so there are no two identical snow crystals.
Today we celebrate the water and the life we live by and with it 💙
