The year is well underway and you've had time to get into good habits related to New Year's resolutions, lifestyle changes and other goals for the new year. But it's easier said than done, and often people fall off or slip back in. Whether the goal is healthier eating, a more active lifestyle, year-round bathing, fewer swear words or better control of your finances, new good habits require patience and persistence.
Here at NORDBAEK our New Year's resolution is always to get in the water more. Winter bathing or year-round bathing is a great everyday activity that can give renewed energy, and we have a few tips here to help you stick to this habit.
• Consider how often you want to get in the water and schedule it in your calendar
• Find a bathing buddy so you can bathe safely together
• Consider always bringing a towel and swimwear on outings, in case an opportunity for a sea dip pops up along the way
• Check in with yourself during the day and remember it should feel pleasant and not rushed
• Remember to dress in warm, windproof clothing afterwards
Happy bathing :)
