Winter bathing has been a part of my life for several years, and to my great delight it is now becoming increasingly popular among people who enjoy all the benefits that winter bathing brings.
It's used for recovery. It reduces stress. It activates the "brown fat". It strengthens the immune system... and much more. One thing winter bathing has also helped me with is my mindset!
I'm generally a very positive person, but even I can face challenges and have days when my thoughts can become "dark" and "heavy".
The control I learn to have over my body through winter bathing, I actually transfer to my thoughts, and very quickly I am able to shift my thinking from the negative to the positive again.
